My role
Senior React Frontend Developer: moving the players into a separate repository, refactoring and rollout
Problem
The video and radio players were woven into the code of each of the group’s websites. Every fix meant deployments in many places, and ads, analytics and error handling worked slightly differently on every site.
What I did
I moved the players out of the websites into a separate React and TypeScript repository, with a single build and CDN deployment process. Websites get a ready-made script and embed code instead of their own copies of the player.

Problem
Over 25 years, WP built and acquired dozens of back-office tools. Each one looked and worked differently, and editorial processes were scattered across many systems. Maintenance was hard, development was slow, and editors were losing time.

Implementing advanced publishing tool features, from requirements analysis to release, in close cooperation with backend.

Senior React Frontend Developer: system design and front-end implementation
Problem
Geologists and field specialists were using data tools designed with analysts in mind. The complex interface meant every search depended on data managers being available, which slowed analysis down.
What I did
A new “mapplication”: the map is at its centre, alongside a search engine for unstructured data from many sources. It supports boolean and quasi-regex queries, filters and search history.

About me
I’m a Senior React Frontend Developer based in Tychy, Poland. I have been building web applications for over 10 years, and for the last several years I have specialised in React and TypeScript, mostly in media products.
Currently, at Grupa ZPR Media (Multimedia team), I develop video, audio, radio and podcast players, CMS modules for radio apps, ad integrations and text-to-speech solutions. I also work in Python and Django repositories, where I own the front-end layer. Before that, on behalf of Autentika, I spent two years co-building Wirtualna Polska’s publishing tools, namely the editor in which the newsroom creates and publishes content.
I treat AI as a tool, not an autopilot. I work with coding agents every day: I write my own skills and instructions for them based on project conventions, while I keep the architecture and code consistent and review everything they generate.
I started out as a graphic designer, so I have an eye for UI and get along well with designers.
